Meloxidyl is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effective in controlling the pain and inflammation associated with acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders in dogs. Conditions such as Osteoarthritis are progressive illnesses that cause once lively dogs to become sedentary and inactive.

When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient, affects the production of tissue relaxing hormones to ease pain and inflammation, which should help your dog back on his paws.
