Metacam 100ml Oral Solution for Horses is indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculo-skeletal disorders. Metacam is a non-sterodial-anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) and is also effective in controlling the pain and inflammation associated with Colic in horses. When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient, affects the production of tissue relaxing hormones that gives anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. With these properties, Metacam can also be used in the management of post-operative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopaedic surgeries. Metacam 100ml Oral Suspension for Horses is manufactured by Boehringer Ingelheim Limited and developed specifically for horses. As such it must never be used in other animals.
